Light Switch in Drylining

What should happen with the earth cable from 1.0mm 2-core and earth when a light switch has been installed in a plastic drywall back box?

Currently it's just been insulated and left hanging in the back box. Is this right?

Should add, the switch faceplate is plastic...

Sleeve them and terminate in a bit of choc block inside the switchbox
