Hello

I would like to replace a standard 2 gang 2 way switch with a dimmer version but am a little confused by the wiring and different markings between the two switches.

Can I have some advice on which wires go where please.

Many thanks in advance.

I Presume that you have matched these dimmers to your bulbs.
I say that because these dimmers will NOT work with dimmable LED bulbs as the dimmer says that it needs more than 60W and less than 250W of load to work.
And LED are normally 5 to 30W.

Normally you need special Dimmers for LED bulbs.
And I normally recommend Varilight-V-Pro for dimming dimmable LED bulbs.

Otherwise the wiring is as follows:
Isolate fully from mains at Consumer unit (Fuse Box).
Label the wires so you know where they are now so you can put them back later if does not work.

OLD NEW Dimmer
A === Live Arrow Logo (in this case one wire)
A1 === L1 (in this case one wire)
A2 === L2 (in this case no wires)

B === Live Arrow Logo (in this case two wires)
B1 === L1 (in this case one wire)
B2 === L2 (in this case no wires)

Leave black wires untouched.

ADDITION ... Is the new dimmer switch face plate made from metal??
If yes then the two earths HAVE TO BE connected together to the metal face place (there should be an attachment point on face plate).
if not metal then you need a Connector block to mechanically join the two earth wires together as twisted together not good enough.
