Lights flickering

Why is it when i turn my bathroom light on the bedroom light flashes like power surge to it but when i turn the bedroom light on the bathroom don’t flash

Bad connection, likely simply a loose wire, which clearly needs correcting.

I thought that but after checking both lights they seem fine could it be any of the lights on the ring also

The other possibility is a damaged cable, such as one which has been crushed by something in the loft, or chewed by vermin.
Either way the problem must be located and fixed.

Lights are not wired on a ring.

Lights are not normally wired on a ring. In a few cases they might have been wired in a ring.

What type of lamps are they ? Do they have any power supplies, drivers or transformers to supply the lamps. ? Do either have a dimmer function ? Does the bathroom have an extractor fan connected to the lamp ?

By "flash" do you mean a lamp that is switched OFF lights up for a split second ?.
