I have jusy replaced 3 lights. bathroom, and two lights in the bedroom. fitted the bathroom, all fine . fitted the bedroom 1 all fine fitted bedroom 2 didn't work.
started again with that fitting and got it working, bad connection.
but now the bathroom light has bo power and a bedroom that i haven't touched doesn't work.....help!!! :oops:

If it went wrong when you replaced fitting in bedroom 2, this is where the fault likely is. Do you have 3 sets of wires above said light in bedroom 2?
 
Loose connection is the only plausible explination - at any of the lights you changed!
 
I've seen it where the loop through has been connected on the switch live so the rest of the house only works when said light is switched on.
