Lillies and fuchsias?

Hi

First image is fuchsia bush in front garden. I’d it normal to see dead and developed (somewhat?) flowers on the same branches?

Second image is lilies in back garden border. They only flowered for a few weeks, so guess they must have been Asiatic variety? (Can’t recall what we bought) I haven’t pruned but looks like they’ve been decapitated? Should I cut the dying stems now? Where should I cut etc?

Have you been overwatering them? They dont like it and have issues like this along with yellow leaves if their roots are too wet

You may have Fuschia mite, it is not a native pest but now widespread in Southern England, arrived maybe ten years ago.

Some people say it was brought in by an illegal import from South America by a noted Fuschia enthusiast on the Isle of Wight, but he denied it.

It is said that there is no amateur control for it, but I have tried various sprays and have a survivor. All the other local fuschias were wiped out.

Apparently a mite is not an insect.
