lime and plasterboard

Can you use a lime finishing coat (as used to set a lime plastered wall) on conventional plasterboard????????? Lime is so much less of an adrenalin rush than normal finishing coats.

absolutely not. use a gypsum based skim as its greater cohesive power wont let it fall off when you slam the door!
