Hi, I have recently replaced two uplighters in my kitchen (large kitchen and well away from cooker sink etc) with 100w linear halogen type lights. In the space of four weeks I have had bulbs go three times (twice on one, once on the other). Any suggestions as to why this is happening, is it dodgy bulbs?

probably is cheap brand of lamp, also they do not like being switched on and off at short intervals
