Linking cable for 2 sets of lights

Hi all,

Is this the correct way of linking the coms together for wiring two sets of lights one set is 2 strip lights to one switch and 3 bulb type lights to the other switch. Aint put earth on pic .

Im trying to get this done by tomorrow dont worry a work mate thats P certified that will do the full test etc etc he was coming round tonight to tell me about the switch but could not make it.

I normally take the feed to the lights and put in a switch drop.

Theoretically it works but exactly how do you propose to 'split' the line conductor at the switch.

You need a choc block for the neutrals in the switch box, which also means you need at least 35mm deep box for the switch
