Linking central heating systems

I am in the process of joining two cottages together they both have separate solid fuel wet central heating systems. I intend to remove one boiler and replace it with one capable of heating the whole house (Oil), but the other boiler I want to keep.

Is it possible to join the systems together with two boilers? If so how.
