I have a combi boiler working on a sealed heating system. The water pressure in the system has fallen.
Problem - I have a tap from the mains supply and a one-directional valve going into the heating return but no connecting hose to restore the pressure. Both fittings have a 22mm screw thread to which a hose must be attached.
2 plumbers' merchants have told me that I can't buy a separate hose and I will have to remove the existing fittings and replace them with a whole new filling loop.
Any thoughts on where I can get a suitable hose or how I can improvise to save having to drain the whole system and replace the fittings?
Thanks
