Lintel orientation

Could someone in the know confirm that this lintel

Can be placed in any orientation?

I think it can but would appreciate confirmation from someone

On that size, yes; but which way do you want to orientate it.

Lay it flat so it’s 140 high

On that length, if it's just supporting the bricks over a doorway, then you could go for a standard size 100x65 from Wickes. But if it were supporting a beam in the centre of it, then yes, set it 140mm high.

For 140 high, use two 65mm lintels as it will be cheaper and easier to lift.
