Just fitted lintel for new door opening.
Had to cut opening 1/2” below where I wanted it so I could slide lintel in behind an obstruction.
Lintel now in but needs to be lifted 1/2” to butt up against blocks.
What’s the best way to do this? Mortar and slate and support lintel till dry?
