I know how to do it now !! The catnic lintel sits back a bit and so you do not see the metal frame.

What length catnic do i need for a 630mm opening. is 750 too small. this would give 60mm bearing either side.
Will require 150mm bearing each side.. so 930mm thus a 1050mm long lintel
 
surley a 900 catnic will be fine. 630mm opening and 135mm bearing each side. this will be much stronger than the solider lintel as well.

Im only quoting from the manufacturers literature, any devation from that and they cant guarantee the load bearing capacity of the lintel.. Its your call in the end.. (down to how good quality the bricks/mortar of the existing are)
