Hi

I have had my living room ceiling reboarded and skimmed and noticed a few things which worry me.

Firstly, basically wherever the ceiling meets the wall, there is a hairline crack either at the joint or a couple of cm into the ceiling.

Secondly in a couple of places a crack then runs down the wall.

I have attached some pics. Hope someone can help.

Ahh thought so.

Should I be worrying about the crack that is coming down the wall.

To be fair to him, he has done a couple of other rooms and they are fine, no cracks or anything. Any suggestions. I was thinking of coving to hide the cracks but worried about crack coming down wall.

Apart from the ceilings have you had any other work done to the house recently?

Decorators flexible caulk for the ceiling crack.

Just skimmed and boarded a couple of other rooms. No other work. Thanks very much for the tip
