Hi Chaps

New poster here but got many a good advice from this site.

I am undertaking a project in which I aim too severely up the live load on the first floor of my house. I know this isn't usually a problem but I need to remove a loadbearing wall below for me snooker table. I know this typically usually up a structural engineers alley, but I don't want to part with my cash and look a plonker.

Any advice would be great.

Damn I’ve got mixed doubles booked a week on Tuesday with Clive and his new mrs which made me panic. My mate came round with the sledge and went hammer and tongs. There was no time for an engineer. He’s done a proper job and it looks pretty solid.

Looks like a troll has signed up or returned. Probably the same person as Giveitabrush. On my ignore list he goes….
