Hi guys,
I'm thinking through the layout of our new extension, which includes re-doing the airing cupboard and old hot water tank. I want to get an unvented cylinder fitted to help with the upstairs shower pressures (currently low head gravity fed), and have done some pressure tests on the incoming mains that I think the eventual plumber will be happy with.
In terms of layout/feasibility, does it matter whether the unvented cylinder is on a ground floor (preferred) or first floor? My thinking is that it won't make a difference based on my simple grasp of physics, but maybe I'm misunderstanding how easily the 3 bar relief can come in to play?
Thanks
