Location of new electric hob

Hi, Is there a legal minimum distance that has to be adhered to between a sink and an electric hob? The electricity supply is over the legal distance away from the sink, so that\\\'s OK. It\\\'s just that I\\\'m not sure if there has to be a legal distance between the actual appliance and the sink bowl.
