Me and the wife purchased our house a year ago and are in the process of bringing it up to modern standards, bit by bit, room by room. The house is a 1900's terrace and was rewired sometime in the mid eighties.
Following installation of Central Heating it has become necessary to move a power outlet that was under a window. A radiator now sits in front of the former power outlet location, so the outlet was removed and a junction box used to connect the cables.
The power outlet was close to the corner of the room, the other wall being a party wall. Having looked at the other power outlet locations in the house, all but one are either on interior walls or non party walls. Is there any reason to avoid re-locating this power outlet on the party wall?
Thanks
Mal
