Locked Sliding Door Lock Issue

My wife lost the key for the sliding door and I have removed the cylinder but the door won’t open. The lever won’t move. Within the door where the cylinder was I see a horizontal screw that is possibly connected to the frame.

How can I open tbis door to fit the replacement cylinder

You need to rotate the central driving tab thing..
I've seen it done but never watched how.
Lock was snapped..
Then a few seconds fiddling inside it all opened..

No, you need to replicate the turning motion of the cam on the barrel which flicks a lever over in the gearbox that locks and unlocks the mechanism, when you snapped it and removed the inner half and before pushing out the outer half you could have used a big flat bladed screwdriver and turned the cam that stayed in place but seeing as you've cleaned the guts out you have 2 options, grip an Allen key in those mole grips and poke it in using the bent part as a lever to flick the lever over inside the gearbox to unlock the mechanism OR buy one of these that replicates the key turning
