Locking Window handle jammed

Hi I have pvc window with a push button handle that you have to press to open I opend the window a jar and it is in the lock position and now I Carnt move handle to close it and I Carnt get to the other screw behind the handle any help much appreciated

Yes it’s as if spring has gone behind that button

Yes you can force them open as its only a plastic spring loaded plunger that keeps it locked and they often fail and jam but its normally key locking handles, hard to tell if this one is key locking or not - doesn't appear to be, maybe its a egress window?

If you need a new handle then its a trojan sparta inline window espag handle
