Locksheild valves all wide open - anybody know why?

But does it leak, or wobble, or have any other problem with it?

apart from the screws into plasterboard and the isolation valves fitted safely behind a seriously siliconed bath panel - I would not know as Ive never used it for a proper bath in 4 months
