Loft Brickwork

I was putting away the Christmas decorations in the loft today and it reminded me to ask your advice on some brickwork in the loft.

The wall in question is the external solid wall which has pebbledash on the outside. There appear to be some missing bricks and the mortar in some places is non existent. As I have no experience in this whatsoever, does this look like a timely or expensive thing to rectify?

Just after some advice and opinions please.
