Hi Guys

Planning a loft conversion, the Architect's recommendation is to place the ensuite loft bathroom on the opposite side of the house from the boiler and the waste pipe.

Is this OK to do, are there any implications of doing this? Can the pipework just runs under the loft floor? Or does it need any additional work and more money spent?

Thank you

Don't see how that could work, its over the max 6 metre rule (plus the stairwell seems to be in the way) and with the fall would exceed the additional space the floor strengthening would provide for the smaller services. Maybe he's planning a macerator (eek), leaving it to the SE and BC, or is just overcome with the beauty of his design. But he should know the basic rules. Like any WC you want it as close to the outside wall as possible.
