loft insulation - light fittings

Hi,
I am currently fitting another 170mm of insulation to the 100mm that is already in the loft space. Is anybody aware of anywhere I can purchase some spacers to leave the correct amount of gap above/around the light fittings below or is it a case of rigging something up myself.
Any help appreciated.

Just wondered if I could do a similar thing with some polysterene and make them myself. Found a load of sheets in the loft and wouldn't mind using them for something.
Don't think they would cause an issue with getting to hot from light fittings if correct amount of air space was left but if anybody thinks otherwise please let me know.
