Looking to insulate my loft (well soon to be loft when I move) 1925 detached 4 bed.

Not on any benefits so don't think I'll qualify for any freebies. Where is the best place to get a decent price on this stuff? Remember some years ago doing my nan's and getting it super cheap from Homebase - about £5 a roll. No such luck now. Unless someone can tell me where I can get it free?

Cheers

If there's none at all then you may be able to get free insulation from an energy provider (possibly even if you're not a customer).

British gas used to do it for free, they still might. Don't need to be a customer just less than 100mm of insulation in the loft.

On my Google trawl I have stumbled across keepwarm.co.uk - they boast frre loft insulation for all regardless of not being on benefits. They called me up confirming this and say they will call back when I move in in 4 weeks. Result.
