Loft Insulation

Hi, I'm looking to insulate my loft, but as the house is old the joists are only 4" (100mm) deep. I wanted to board at least some of the loft area for storage but also to have more than 100mm of insulation. Are there any low profile options available which give the same performance as 250mm of glass mineral wool rolls (and preferably about the same price! )?

I've boarded part of my loft and screwed some 2"x2" to the joists to increase the depth for the insulation to 6".
