Loft Joists for Boarding

Hi,

I am looking to board my loft. The beams are 3x2, sat on a wall in the middle of the house and the outer wall of the house.

Is this ok just to board or am I asking for trouble? Only planning on light storeage at the moment.

Best make it very light storage, oh and only go up there naked, having removed all watches/jewellery etc and shaved off all of your body hair to reduce the weightload.

stevene - the worry for me is your use of the phrase "at the moment" in your last paragraph. It has to be light storage for ever 'cos of joist sizes.
