hi all, please can someone advise on my loft plumbing situation

so I have a cold water tank in the loft with a ballcock valve.
the ballcock joins to the pipe shown in this video: http://www.pinkbike.com/video/397206/

it keeps leaking really badly at this point, and i cant move the fitting back enough to properly ptfe tape it (or really do anything that lasts).

is there anything i can do to fix quick? or do i really need to replace the pipework going into it? the pipe gets thicker which is why i cant pull the fitting back
hope that makes sense, sorry about the bad quality video
thanks for any advice :s

remove the ball valve and then you will have room use the correct fibre washer and make sure none of the old washer is still in place

You should have enough space just to slip the washer in between the gap you have there and over the tap connector on the right
