What ho one and all,

This seems a pretty fundament question, so apologies for it benign so simple!

Had to replace a ball valve on a rental loft tank yesterday and in removing the insulation blanket, it pretty much fell to bits.

One of the problems I can see is that the fibre blanket is sandwiched between two pieces of sealed plastic sheet so while manoeuvring it into position, gravity causes the fibre insulation to slide down and bunch up on the bottom of the plastic bag.

I have been searching but cannot find anything that is more or less, like a duvet where the insulation is held in 'pockets.'

Does anything like this exist and if so, where?

Thanks and toodle pip.

don't think so

the jackets are very cheaply made.

If you shake it before fitting, the "belt" you tie round to hold the jacket in place should prevent the fibreglass pad from slipping down.
