Hope someone can advise please.
My son bought a flat which has a Logic 24 condensing boiler. The boiler is around 5 to 6 years old. In the last year it has frequently started to make a horrible hammering/banging noise when drawing hot water either from the kitchen or from the bathroom. Also, the water flow from the hot taps is often severely reduced and usualy happens when the noise is made. So we assume both the noise and the flow are affected by the same issue.
My son has had the boiler serviced a couple of times and it has to be re pressurised every so often. However at the last service the tradesman did not hear the noise or see the reduced flow of hot water so was unable to advise.
Any ideas what the problem might be? Also can anyone recommend someone reputable in the South East London (Sydenham area) who may be able to help?
