Hi,
My aidelle loovent 01 x(which is 36 years old) has gone wrong. It won't turn off and causes the light to stay on regardless of which way the switch is pressed.
So i have bought a new loovent eco t.
my question is what do i do with the earth wire as this is now redundant on the new model. The old loovent was put in when the house was built and no isolator or 3A fuse is in the wiring. just four wires from the ceiling light. Red, Blue, Yellow and earth. Should i take the existing wiring and put in an isolator switch?
i think there should be enough flex to mount the switch behind the fan in the wall, i presume that the earth can now be wired in to the box black plate.
Stu.
