I'm looking to replace an existing Goldair Select GSBH50 wall-mounted bathroom downflow fan heater.

The existing installation allows only 150 mm between the top of the heater and the ceiling, so many current models appear unsuitable.

Ideally, I'm looking for:

  • A 2kW wall-mounted downflow fan heater, or a suitable alternative that provides quick warmth.
  • A minimum ceiling clearance of 150 mm or less, confirmed by the manufacturer's installation instructions.
  • Suitable for installation in a domestic bathroom.
  • Available to buy as a single unit in the UK, ideally around £30–£60.
I've looked at the Winterwarm 409FV, TCP Smart WiFi 2kW, infrared heaters and electric radiators, but haven't yet found an option that meets all the requirements at a reasonable price.

Has anyone successfully replaced an older bathroom fan heater in a similar position, or can recommend a model with documented installation clearances?

Thanks for any suggestions.
