Looking for some Pier Caps & bricks

I would like some Pier Caps that look like these and in the same size:

Do any of the main builders merchants stock them?

I would also like the same bricks used for the pillars, anyone know what the bricks might be?

Not seen these in builders merchants. Only by specialist companies.

There several companies who do this, and I found many using google search "Pier Caps". I have found that stone costs much more than Stone Create (ie a concrete mix that looks a bit more like stone than grey concrete caps).

The Pier Caps you show look a lot like "Lytham" from this company (which as a disclaimer I have used myself once, but have no affiliation):

If the bricks have wavely lines on them they might be Claydon (but this is a complete guess).

Many thanks for your suggestion. I had hoped to see the pier caps in person before purchasing. I think I might just have to knock on doors to ask where people got theirs from.

Not being able to see them in advance was Exactly my problem as none of the suppliers seemed to be local to me. And all suppliers seem to have a relatively poor web site with not enough close up pictures. So in end crossed my fingers and bought semi-blind.

If you are doing a pier and want re-bar, then after a lot of looking I found the only local supplier to me was Jewsons who had 3m lengths of 15mm rebar in stock at about £15 each? I put two lengths (one rebar cut in half) into each pier.

Google ornamental pier caps. Go to Classical Collection and the caps you require are Heritage.Pier Caps. They will deliver.

A neighbour has now written to say that they object to me having pillars at the end of my drive as one would encroach on their land by a few cm's... and be behind a big bush so they wouldn't have even seen it...

To a point I understand your neighbours as no one likes to see their land taken even by a few centimetres. my drive is now rather narrorower than I was planning as I wanted to ensure I was off their land to ensure that there was no comeback in the future (did not want to take it down).

Could you consider a one and a half brick by one and a half brick pier instead? There are pier caps for that and would make your piers some inches narrower.
