Those are angle plates, not clips, so you'd need to screw through from behind..
Probably easier to put a blob of silicone on each then press the piece of plinth in place.

Looks like it’s just wedged in place with brackets to stop it in correct position .
Countersink a couple of magnets, into the back of the plinth, and it will snap into place.
A swift way of securing those shrinker plate is with a hot glue gun and within seconds a fix without raising a sweat
