Loss of heat to radiators, but still hot water - usual suspects seem ok...

Hi...as far as I can tell it comes on and fires for as long as is needed. Difficulty for me is that I'm not living in the property. When CH is on and rooms stat turned up, it runs continuously but obviously can't get stat up to temp as rads don't get hot. Tank stat is set to 100F, but I didnt check to see if boiler shuts off soon after firing up for HW. I will have to check this next time I am there.

This sounds as if it may be a property that you rent out.

Its now six days since you posted here about the problem.

If there are tenants paying a rack rental, don't you think that they deserve a professional to diagnose and correct the problem promptly?

Hi Tony...I understand your assumption and I didn't make things clear. It's actually my mum's place and she passed away in October and finding time over there is tricky. Equally, juggling work and trying to liaise with a CH engineer near Xmas is not so easy. And no part of the system has been tampered with.
