The pressure downstream of a restriction when there is flow will be less than it is upstream of the restriction. We were not talking about static pressure.

Thanks for the reply. I don't want to reduce the pressure overall because it is useful for baths / showers etc. So I think I will get a couple of those Fluidmaster quiet fill valves.

Talk about stating the obvious ! :roll: Who said it wasn't exactly ? ? Of course it will be. I've already stated that in my posts.
I have also clearly explained the difference between static and dynamic pressure for the benefit of those who don't understand basic fluid dynamics. . 8)
