Hi there and happy new year. If the cold's fine pressure (flow)wise shouldn't hot be too on a combi boiler?
Any ideas welcomed

My combi (ferroli) slows down the hot rate if the incoming cold water is very cold so to achieve the requested output temperature that has been selected.

Hi there
thanks for your replies, the boiler is a Worcester 24i and the rad trvs are set on 3. When you turn the hot tap on at the kitchen sink by the boiler you get a spurt the trickle for 3 secs then nothing. Upstairs you get even less.
The pump looks ok, I took out the screw and rotated it, and was set on 3.

Many thanks in advance

When pump isworking, if you place a towel under pump. When the pump is working i.e. power is sent to it if you undo the screw and place a screw driver gently in it you should feel the pump turning causing a clatter against the screwdriver as you gently touch it against the internal fins

Pump has nothing to do with it.
Sounds like you have something resricting the flow to the hot taps.
Could be within the boiler or in the pipework.

In particular KEVPLUMB as I think this must be the problem as the 1st tap (kitchen sink) is only three feet away from the boiler. Also she's not firing up now!!!

read the installation and servicing instructions
if you have not got them e mail me (adress in profile )

and make sure the boiler isolater is open ;)
