For a patio-area single storey extension, my architect has suggested a choice of either:
- Marley Mendip low-pitch interlocking concrete roof tiles
OR
- slates with the Permavent 'Easy-Slate' side strips.
We also expect to use low-pitch 'Fakro' roof lights.
Please can anyone advise of the pros and cons of these options, especially their relative costs (is one much easier/quicker to install than the other?)
And, especially, will the Fakro roof lights fit much better within the Marley-Mendip type roofing, or Slate with Permavent strips?
Thanks for your thoughts
