Hello everyone,

Ive just sorted my leaky new bath tap thanks to the excellent advice on here so now I'm back for more. :D

My hot tap on my new bath is just dribbling out water. the cold tap has good pressure as does both the hot and cold taps on my bathroom sink.

This is provong to be a problem for me as I have a mixer tap on the bath so i cant really have a hot shower.

My old mixer tap was fine on my old bath and i had good pressure.

Any adivice would be great.

Thanks

Gazken

Could be an air lock in the hot pipe work. Try blocking the outlet and turning hot and cold on together to push a possible air lock back up to the tank.

Is it a gravity hot supply and cold mains cold supply? If so could be that the tap is meant for mains pressure only.

Or could just be a faulty mixer.
