So, in years past, I always used a brush to “cut in” & thought masking tape was strictly for amateurs. But things have changed in recent years & my hands are no longer steady enough to manually achieve the results I expect. My daughter suggested I should try “Hippo” tape & was delighted with the results & the beautifully clean edge it produced.

But it does seem relatively expensive compared with the many other “low tack” masking tapes on the market so my question is, is Hippo tape worth the extra or do other, cheaper “low tack” tapes give just as good a result?
