Low voltage under cup'd lighting, failure.

Have those triangular low voltage [12v, 20 watt lamp] under kitchen cup'ds and they seem poor quality most have failed due to poor contact between lamp and holder [tiny 4mm 2pin bulbs]. Anyone know of a source of replacement lamp holders or should I bin them and start again.

They're all pretty poor quality in my experience. I prefer the small fluorescents made for under-cabinet work - easier to fit, last longer, easier to replace the lamps when (if) they fail, and give better light than the capsules.

Maplins do G4 lamp holders, but I would bin them.
I found the G4s to be the most troublesome of lamps.
