LS-X

Hi, What does anybody think about LS-X a jointing compound.

I had to use it today, on the connections to a Thermostatic shower mixer.
No matter what i did it kept leaking, I tried to buy a new adjuster thread, but couldnt - hence LS-X.

Its worked OK for now, but will it last?

I am a bit worried because the joint is inside a cavity, which I wont see after tiling. Blind faith I guess.

i always say if you can't get it to seal without any compound somethings wrong.

what was it a compression fitting to the mixer ?
