Macerator toilet system

Can anyone give me advice on how effective macerator toilets are please. I am advised it would be the easiest solution for an extra toilet rather than lots of digging up to get to sewer.

They are definately worth considering if you want to avoid all the structural stuff. You will have to put up with a bit of noise from them but well worth it for the effort saved.
