I want to install a toilet & small hand basin in an upstairs cupboard & I was thinking of using a macerator to discharge all waste to an existing toilet stack there won't be any solids just liquids. Looking at macerators on ebay & this one seems ridiculously cheap http://tinyurl.com/282j9kb can anyone give me their advice on it please. It will only have to pump up about 1.5 Mtrs & then for a length of 5Mtrs.

not my choice of unit but i fitted one for a customer in the summer
which he brought from ebay.
not a bad unit for the price comes with non return valves etc.

don't know about yours but the only contact with the makers of the unit is by email.
due to the first unit leaking and customer contacting them they decided to replace the complete unit.

when we checked the faulty unit it had a screw missing from the pump
so caused the pump to p*ss out water when used.

apart from that the new units still going strong. ;)

its an ultraflow/maxiflow unit if i remember.
