Macerator toilet

Hi all,

Flicking through my instructions for my Macerator flo force and it says “discharge pipe length before first elbow 0.5m”

Having a look at other brands I can’t see this rule so wondered how important it is?

My plan was to drop 0.1m then use 2 45degress into a 1.5m horizontal run. Would this be fine?

I believe that refers to a vertical dischage. Are you planing a rise at the end of the horizontal at all and you could always take a look at Saniflo 10 Golden rules for help.

okay thanks for that. Will have a vertical discharge but only 0.12m

You need to make that 0.00m or you will shorten the life span of the unit.

Sorry I meant it will go up 0.12m vertically then discharge horizontally
