Only needs UK to apologise to the Mau Mau, Kikuyu, Indians, Ventersburg population, The Boers, Amritsar population, the Malaysians, the Irish, the African slave descendants, the Tibetans, etc.
Or even including them in the history of British Colonial rule would be a good start.

Macron asked for forgiveness for not acting appropriately.
There was nothing that France did that caused, exacerbated or initiated the massacre.
There was something that France might have been able to do to help prevent or reduce it.
There's a difference.

Hindsight is a wonderful gift.

Now the incidences that I mentioned in a previous post, and have been airbrushed out of UK history, were caused by, initiated and exacerbated by UK.
It's about time that UK asked for forgiveness for those heinous actions. Or even started to include them in UK history.

Incidentally Churchill was responsible for the creation of the Black and Tans that were responsible for such violence in Ireland in 1920's.
That's another heinous action to add to his list of heinous actions.

Germany has officially acknowledged that it committed genocide during its colonial-era occupation of Namibia and announced a financial support gesture.
"We will now officially refer to these events as what they are from today's perspective: genocide," Mr Maas said in Friday's statement, adding that colonial-era actions should be discussed "without sparing or glossing over".

Still waiting for UK to follow and admit to just one of it's atrocities. Will it happen in my lifetime? Will it ever happen at all?

Maybe one day Austria will apologise to Jews for the atrocities meted out to them and others in concentration camps. Instead they claim they were a victim of Nazi Germany.
