magnacleanse 1 st time using??!!

We bought a magnaclean series and connected it onto return like it says to do and from start to finish it was clean water.

The system was a friends , and he said that he thought the radiators were not as hot as he'd like.
I said turn your boiler stay up cos it was only on 67 -70.
So we used his system to test it out.
I'm not sure though, ?

Does anyone here use one and what do you think when using as a stand alone unit , relying on boiler pump?

I know there's threads on this already but I suppose I just want someone to give a definite YES or No their ****.

Did you agitate the radiators using a rad Hammer with circulation through just 1 rad at a time?

if you mean a magnaclean filter like the pro model, just because you have sludge in your system does not necessarily mean the filter will pick it all up. I had a magnaclean pro 2 filter at the end of my return and that hardly picked up anything last few months and recently I had sludge stuck in my boiler which caused it to regularly cut out (and probably in my pipework as well). It was only after buying and using the cleaner chemical additive to break down the sludge that the sludge finally removed itself and the boiler ran ok
