Just stripped the paint off a hundred year old Mahogany Newell Post. The wood still has some paint in the grain and also looks very dark and dirty. What is the best way to get the post looking good? I was planning to use some Danish oil but need to get rid of the dirt first. What abrasives/cleaning agents should I be looking to use? Thanks in advance, Steve.
