Best advice on primer/undercoat

I've got a tin of dulux 2in1 primer trade already for other bits round the house, i was wondering if i go with a tin of zinsser bin first, then this then two satinwood coats?

Zinsser 123, BIN, or Coverstain will all be ok as a primer for this after it has been prepped up, sanding ,degreasing etc. then two or three topcoats of what ever you want. A water based topcoat would be best.
I did this one a couple of months ago.

Cheers man, what sort of brush do you use? One of the glossing pointy type?

If your using water based paint you really need a synthetic bristle brush. I only use Purdy or Proform Blaze. It pays to use a decent brush.
