Main light and Wall lights switching wrong way!!

Found a few messages on this but not quite the same situation...

I have a 2 way 2 gang light switch. It's not two way lighting, just one switch for the main light and one switch for the wall lights on the same plate.

Just moved into this house and the switches are all the wrong way round - one is up one is down. How should the wiring be please?

We have yellow, blue and red wires and earth (!!). The earth is ok (!!). There is also a small red wire going from the com to L2 on both switches.

I've tried a few combinations but can't seem to get them facing all down when off if that makes sense!

on one switch (the one that operated upsdiedown), swap L1 and L2.

Thanks for this, I would like to check all the wiring, could some one please tell me the correct way for a 2 way 2 gang switch but only operating a main light and wall lights (i.e not really two way but both coming off the one double switched plate).

COM and (L1 or L2). Either way around.

Why do you want the switch down when off? That's the continental style.
